GDI - Marching Theme
A music-led brand campaign designed to translate the idea of unity, synergy and collective strength into sound.
Inspired by the structure of a marching band and the vibrant energy of New Orleans brass traditions, the composition blends funk-driven rhythms, dynamic orchestration and playful cinematic textures to create a soundtrack that feels collaborative, optimistic and full of forward momentum.
Through musical dialogue, layered motifs and rhythmic interaction, the piece transforms a corporate message into an emotionally engaging brand experience — reflecting how individual strengths become more powerful when moving in sync.
Elements of the music are intentionally playful and dynamic — similar in tone to the jazz textures heard in the opening of Monsters Inc. — while remaining rooted in the rhythmic sophistication of funk and jazz. The percussion, in particular, evokes a school band playing with swagger and soul, supporting the visual of movement and collaboration.
The melody evokes a mission-driven energy — like a team in sync, on a "mission Possible"

Raptor’s Quest
A cinematic music piece designed as an innocent yet suspenseful adventure, blending orchestral storytelling with the emotional energy of sports culture.
Beginning with playful museum-inspired orchestration and evolving into a basketball-driven sonic environment built from court textures, marching rhythms and crowd energy, the composition transforms narrative into emotion through music. Rhythmic layers built from sneaker squeaks, bouncing basketballs, marching-band energy, whistles, cheers and crowd percussion become the driving force of the second act, shifting the emotional momentum into “game mode."
Inspired by the emotional memory of the Toronto Raptors identity, the piece showcases an approach to composition where storytelling, sound design and musical emotion converge.
(BTS Film)
Built around an overnight takeover at the Royal Ontario Museum, the piece blended the playful mystery of Night at the Museum with the energy of a modern cinematic heist. An original score was developed to reinforce momentum, confidence and emotional drive — extending the spirit of the Raptors × Sun Life partnership through sound and storytelling.

Junior Carelli
Composer • Sound Designer • Audio Director
My relationship with music has always been about storytelling.
Long before film sets and studios, it started with a controller in my hands and a soundtrack that changed everything. The Legend of Zelda revealed how music could shape emotion, pacing and narrative — a discovery that would later define my work in cinema and audiovisual production.
Growing up in São Paulo, I immersed myself in film, music and visual culture. From early interactive media to large-scale productions, my path has always centered on music as narrative structure. Whether for film, documentary, advertising or games, sound is never decorative — it is storytelling.
Today, I compose and design sound for films, documentaries, commercials, radio, branded campaigns and games, creating scores that enhance story, rhythm and emotional depth. My work blends cinematic orchestration with modern sound design, always serving picture and intent first.

⸻
Approach
I work as a creative partner to directors, producers and production companies, not only as a composer, but as someone deeply experienced in production, directing, editing and post-production.
As the founder and owner of a production company myself, I understand the real challenges producers face — budgets, timelines, client expectations, revisions, approvals and delivery pressure. I know how decisions made in post impact the entire project, both creatively and operationally.
Having worked across multiple roles, I have a full understanding of the creative and technical workflow — from concept and script to edit, picture lock and final delivery. This perspective allows me to anticipate needs, communicate efficiently with teams, and create music and sound that integrate naturally into the edit, cinematography and narrative.
My background as a producer and director expands my role beyond audio. It streamlines collaboration, reduces friction in post, and helps projects move forward smoothly, respecting creative vision while staying grounded in production reality.
My role is to strengthen the story — seamlessly — while supporting the production as a whole.
⸻
Production Ready
Based in Toronto, with production hubs in Canada and Brazil, I collaborate seamlessly with production companies as an embedded or white-label audio partner. From early concept through final delivery, I integrate smoothly into existing workflows — remote or on-site.
Cinematic sound. Emotional clarity. Story-first audio — built to serve the film.
